Uldir 2nd Night – Wednesday 5th of Sept 2018


We downed Zek’voz pretty quickly when we added an 11th who was a disc priest and we had all of the mechanics down pat. I still think this boss is tuned poorly for a 10 man group. I think the Titan spark damage and the adds spawned in phase 3 are really punishing in a small group. I will have to double check logs but I think 33% of the damage our raid took was from Titan spark which is completely unavoidable.

We than moved onto Vectis. I will start by saying this is even worse than Zek’voz on 10 man. We had I think 10 attempts with 11 people and we got really good at the mechanics by the 10th pull. Despite how well we managed the mechanics the raid damage was just too high. We then added 4 more people and I believe we downed it in the 1st attempt. It is a really dumb how there are 3 Omega Vectors in any raid size. It punishes small groups.

We only got like 3 attempts at this and some of our members had to leave as we pushed past our 11pm raid time. But my impression was that it requires a lot of movement and this will take some attempts to perfect. Once again I believe if we had more people it would be easier. I do not like this design philosphy one bit. I want my 10man raids back…

I have done the world boss and 5/8 in Uldir and I have gotten 0 loot. I am going to get some trash piece the moment I walk into a Mythic 0. Sigh…
